Trust Staff Complete Manchester 10K

Staff from The Pinnacle Trust have completed the Great Manchester Run on Sunday 22nd May.

Staff from Oldham Sixth Form College, The Hathershaw and Werneth Primary School, joined forces to walk or run the 10k course in support of three charities; Maggie’s Oldham, The UK Sepsis Trust and UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency.

All staff members were involved in choosing to support these fantastic charities, who do so much to improve the lives of those in need and their families. It was a fun day full of personal achievement and raising awareness. We are proud of our staff and the support they have raised.

Jayne Clarke, Executive Principal of the Pinnacle Learning Trust said;

'It was wonderful to be able to take part in the Great Manchester Run again, and staff from across our Trust stepped up to the challenge brilliantly.  In addition to it being a fantastic occasion which brought us together, we are very proud to have raised over £3000 for three great charities.  We're looking forward to next year's event already!'

So far, £3,134 has been raised for these three amazing charities and any donations can be made to their just-giving page here.
