The Pinnacle Learning Trust has worked closely with Nexus Manchester SCITT for many years to provide Initial Teacher Education placements in post-16 courses. Oldham Sixth Form College is now the strategic lead for the SCITT 14-19 courses.

Teacher Taster Days
Are you considering a career in teaching?
If so, come along to one of our Teacher Taster Days! These free events provide the perfect opportunity for you to find out more about a career in teaching. These days give you the chance to observe lessons taught by experienced teachers, talk to some of our current trainee teachers, as well as find out about the various teacher training opportunities available to you and the benefits of becoming a teacher.
Following attendance at a Teacher Taster Day, you will be able to apply for a longer work experience placement.
